I’m passionate about helping you kick the food guilt and
find food freedom.

Meet EmmaπŸ‘‹

I'm an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC) and I am passionate about creating positive relationships with food across all life stages, from little ones to adults. My mission? To make food and mealtimes less complicated and stressful, bring back the joys that can come with food and sharing a meal with a loved one.

Food is 100% my love language and I would probably fight someone for any type of biscuit covered in chocolate. I have a slight obsession with dogs and my favourite things to do include Netflix + cook, filling my cup doing nothing in particular with loved ones and seeing the world 🌍

So, if you’re seeking a dietitian who combines clinical expertise with zero judgement and who ultimately wants to help you bring back the joys of food and mealtimes – we might be the perfect match!

What Do I Do?

My expertise spans life stages and conditions including;

  1. Paediatric nutrition; supporting toddlers to adolescents with developing happy and stress-free family mealtimes

  2. Disordered eating and eating disorders; helping guide you back to food freedom with compassion and support and holding space in the depths of your hardest moments

  3. Sports Nutrition; helping you fuel for your performance or competition goals without rigid food rules, restrictive diets or seeing you as an outcome or number only

  4. Neuro-affirming care; embracing neurodivergent experiences while simultaneously personalising and adapting approaches to honour these differences and reduce perpetuating harm

  5. Body image healing; helping foster peaceful relationships with bodies, whether that’s through direct work, setting up environments appropriately or educating others on how to help.

My ultimate mission is to continually work to prevent eating disorders in the future through direct work with clients, awareness building work and ongoing education and upskilling.

My Approach

I use a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach when it comes to my practice and love to embrace a mixture of motivational interviewing techniques, CBT and DBT skills based on the evolving presentations of clients.

I truly believe and understand there is no one size fits all and strive to adapt and work with individualised situations. I use a collaborative approach in my therapy and help unpack eating behaviours at a deeper and multidisciplinary level. I believe YOU are the expert on yourself or child - I am simply there to assist and guide.

I love flexibility in sessions depending on what is working for you or not and, pride myself on actively listening to you and weaving sessions to accommodate for your needs. I prefer a visual or activity-based learning style and getting you actively involved in participating with ideas and solutions (because you truly do know yourself best!)
